Incident: Chemical tanker escapes boarding

A chemical tanker in the Gulf of Aden, not otherwise identified, is chased by "pirates in a speed boat" equipped with "metal hooks and ropes." "Alert crew prevented the boarding and informed duty officer on bridge. Vessel made evasive manoeuvres and escaped from the pirate attack." (ICC/IMB Website)
