Incident: Bulk carrier fired upon

A bulk carrier "about 530 miles off the Somali coast" is fired upon by "pirates armed with RPGs and rifles in a skiff." Pirates broke off the attack after evasive action by their target. The unidentified vessel and crew are safe. (ICC/IMB Q3 Report and ICC/IMB Website)
