Longchamp released

The LPG tanker Longchamp, seized by pirates in January, is released, its captain and crew proceeding to Vietnam (its destination when taken).

The company gave no details of how the release was achieved or of any ransom that was paid but said: "Bernard Schulte Shipmanagement would like to thank the many parties, agencies and professionals involved for their outstanding efforts in achieving the safe release of the crew and vessel."
